At present, I have four different sections that I've worked on:  Short Films, Web Series, Corporate Videos and Sports Documentaries. I love film and have had the pleasure of editing all types of styles: dramatic, comedic, action and informative.

This is a 4 Minute demo clip of a 29 minute lecture where Rick Dean discusses the importance of universal standards to enhance the cinematic experience for the audience and how it makes a professional job a lot easier in an ever increasing and complex digital world.  The industry is undergoing a massive transformation from film to digital files, 3D TV, consumption on portable devices and continuous improvements in home theater display technology. 

Over the past 20+ years,  Mr. Dean has worked on numerous groundbreaking entertainment projects, including the DVD and D-cinema releases of Star Wars Episodes I, II and III. Rick transformed the THX mastering program from Laser Disc to standard definition DVD, D- cinema and Blu-ray disc.
